Dussehra 2026 Shastra Pujan: Western Command Army Commander honours rifles and drones with troops in Jammu

Lieutenant General Pushpendra Singh, Army Commander, Western Command, spent Dussehra with troops in forward areas of the Jammu Sector, reviewing operational preparedness and joining a Shastra Pujan where drones sat alongside rifles. The armed forces' Vijayadashami weapon-worship tradition stretches from the Defence Minister's ceremonies at Auli, Tawang, Sukna and Bhuj to BSF gunners at Jaisalmer.
