Indigenous AIP system for Navy submarines enters Phase-2 at L&T Hazira, Kalvari-class fitment set for 2027

DRDO's indigenous Air Independent Propulsion Energy Module entered Setting to Work Phase-2 at L&T Hazira. It will be powered up and tested to Navy protocols before handover to MDL for fitment on a Kalvari-class submarine in early 2027.
