India Armenia defence cooperation eyes new areas as Defence Secretary visits Yerevan

Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh held a day of talks in Yerevan, meeting Armenia's Defence Minister, its military chief and its high tech industry minister, who signed an MoU on defence research, development and shared production. Armenia has emerged as one of India's largest overseas markets for defence equipment, with deals worth around USD 3 billion since 2020.
