Shaurya Vijay Yatra Flagged Off for Kargil Vijay Diwas as 28 Riders Set Out for Dras

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh flagged off the Shaurya Vijay Yatra motorcycle expedition from the National War Memorial in New Delhi on 14 July 2026. Twenty eight serving and retired personnel and their families will ride 1,900 kilometres over 13 days, halting at war memorials enroute and carrying National War Memorial soil, to reach the Kargil War Memorial at Dras on 26 July, marking 27 years of Operation Vijay.
