INS Malvan commissioning set for 22 July as Navy inducts second Mahe class ASW craft at Kochi

The Indian Navy will commission Malvan, the second of eight Mahe class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft built by Cochin Shipyard Limited, at Kochi on 22 July 2026. The ship was delivered on 31 March and carries over 80 per cent indigenous content.
