New DPSUs profit Rs 2,801 crore five years after the ordnance factory conversion

The seven companies carved out of the Ordnance Factory Board in 2021 posted a combined profit of Rs 2,801 crore in FY 2025-26 against a loss of Rs 2,844 crore before corporatisation, with exports rising from Rs 81 crore to Rs 4,561 crore over the same comparison, the Ministry of Defence's Annual Report 2025-26 says.
