Tejas Mk1A first squadron likely by financial year end as integration hurdles remain

HAL expects to hand the IAF its first full Tejas Mk1A squadron by the end of the current financial year once GE Aerospace clears its engine backlog, but radar, weapons and EW integration still await CEMILAC certification.
