Mission Olympics Wing behind Indian Army's 20-medal Asian Games haul

Indian Army sportspersons won 20 medals at the Asian Games 2026, six gold, eight silver and six bronze, nearly a fourth of India's 85. The results come through the Army's Mission Olympics Wing, launched in 2001, with the Army Sports Institute, Pune, and 28 sports nodes feeding talent into it.
