INS Malvan commissioned at Karwar, the first warship the Navy has inducted at the base

INS Malvan, the second of eight indigenously built Mahe-class Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft, was commissioned into the Indian Navy at Karwar on 22 July 2026. It is the first warship the Navy has commissioned at Karwar and its seventh induction of the year, with over 80 percent indigenous content.
