PLA Deployment Along LAC Reduced to Ten Brigade-Sized Forces in 2025, MoD Says

The Ministry of Defence's Annual Report 2025-26 records a reduction in PLA deployment along the Line of Actual Control through 2025, down to ten combined arms brigade sized forces, against a backdrop of sustained diplomatic and military engagement and India's own posture described as robust. The same period saw new Army formations raised for deployment along the same borders.
