Rajnath Singh Approves 250 MW Solar Power Project on Defence Land in Uttar Pradesh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved a 250 MW solar power project with Battery Energy Storage System on approximately 850 acres of vacant defence land at Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh. NTPC Limited will implement the project through competitive bidding in coordination with Army Headquarters and the Directorate General Defence Estates.
