Army Mount Kun Expedition Sets a Single Day Summit Record in Ladakh

The Indian Army has flagged in its Pre-Everest Massif Expedition to Mount Kun, a 27 member team that put every climber on the 7,077 metre Ladakh summit on 17 July and set a record for the most members of a single team to reach the top in one day. Vice Chief of the Army Staff Lt Gen Sandeep Jain received the team in New Delhi. The climb is a build-up to the Army's maiden Everest Massif Expedition in 2027.
