Kusha long range missile scores maiden intercept in first flight test

DRDO has conducted the maiden flight test of the Kusha Long Range Surface to Air Missile from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off Odisha, intercepting an electronic target that simulated a high speed, high altitude aerial threat. The Ministry of Defence said the missiles, radars and command and control centre were all developed by DRDO laboratories and Indian industry partners.
