AN-32 crash Jorhat: IAF transport aircraft meets with accident at Assam air base

An AN-32 transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident on Saturday morning while landing at the Rowriah airbase at Jorhat Air Force Station in Assam. The Indian Air Force confirmed the incident and said further details were awaited. Firefighting operations were launched immediately at the crash site.

Senior IAF officials have rushed to the accident site. Casualty details, if any, are yet to be officially confirmed by the service. The AN-32 crash Jorhat incident is being closely monitored, and a Court of Inquiry is expected to be ordered in accordance with standard IAF procedure.
