Army loiter munition contracts worth Rs 1,577 crore signed with TASL and NIBE

The Ministry of Defence has signed contracts worth Rs 1,577 crore with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd and NIBE Ltd for 84 loiter munition systems, 840 loiter munitions and accessories for the Indian Army. Processed under Buy Indian through the Fast Track Procedure, the order carries 60 percent indigenous content and a reach of up to 100 km, with delivery due within 12 months of advance payment.
