Hypersonic defence technology leadership: PM Modi names defence power the fifth Shakti of his Saptadhara vision

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for hypersonic defence technology leadership in his 80th Independence Day address, naming defence power the fifth strength of his Shakti Ki Saptadhara vision, as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh backed the claim with a record Rs 1.78 lakh crore in annual production and a DRDO scramjet combustor test run past 1,200 seconds.
