Tejas Mk1A engine supply gets a date as GE promises HAL 22 F404s this year

HAL has 22 finished Tejas Mk1A fighters that cannot be delivered for want of engines. At Farnborough, CMD Ravi K sat down with GE Aerospace chief Larry Culp and came away with a commitment of 22 F404-IN20s before the year is out, alongside a firmer window of March to July 2027 for the LCA Mk2 first flight.
