97 Tejas Mk1A Jets Get 2027 Delivery Start Date

A second HAL contract for 97 Tejas Mk1A jets, 68 fighters and 20 trainers, will begin delivery in September 2027 and run through to September 2033, the Ministry of Defence's Annual Report 2025-26 says, taking the confirmed Tejas Mk1A orderbook to 180 aircraft.
