Sir Creek amphibious boats to give Army and Navy a land to water crossing the marshes have long denied

The Ministry of Defence has issued a Request for Proposal for eleven rigid hull amphibious combat boats under Buy (Indian) with 60 per cent indigenous content. Seven go to the Army's Corps of Engineers in Kutch for the Sir Creek sector, four to the Navy at Mumbai and Port Blair for the Andaman and Nicobar Command.
