Army Chief Russia visit puts Pantsir, BMP-3 and a new tank on the table

Gen Dhiraj Seth leaves for Russia on Wednesday, the first visit by an Indian Army chief to Moscow since Gen Bipin Rawat in 2018. On the table are spare parts for the Army's Russian-origin fleet, the Pantsir-S1M air defence system, a new BMP-3 infantry vehicle and a possible tank offer under the FRCV programme.
