Yudh Abhyas 2026 Commences at Auli and Mahajan in a Two Theatre Format

The 22nd edition of the India US joint military exercise Yudh Abhyas opened on Tuesday with training running simultaneously at Auli in Uttarakhand and the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan, and 600 personnel from both Armies taking part. The exercise is built around the employment of Integrated Battle Groups in mountainous and semi mountainous terrain, with drones and autonomous systems written into the surveillance and reconnaissance tasks.
